Certified teachers are available to meet with small groups of students grades K‑12 at the library to provide free homework help and tutoring in reading, math and science.

One‑hour tutoring sessions will be held on Saturdays at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. at all participating library branches with the exception of the Model City Branch Library, which will offer tutoring sessions on Wednesdays at 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Important Information for Parents and Student Participants

  • Parents/guardians should remain in the library while their child receives tutoring.
  • Students should bring homework or learning materials with them to the sessions.
  • Students may bring a tablet or other electronic device.
  • The program takes place on a weekly basis with the exception of the dates indicated below.

Tutoring sessions will not be held on the following dates:

First week of school
