Check out a good book today!

What is Miami Book Month?

On October 18, 2022, the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution declaring November as Miami Book Month. The month recognizes and highlights the importance of literacy, reading, books and the institutions and organizations that promote literary arts throughout the community, including the Miami-Dade Public Library System, Miami Book Fair and Books & Books.

From participating in our Fall Into Winter Reading Challenge to checking out our recommended reads, attending a storytime, literacy-themed events and so much more, we invite you to celebrate Miami Book Month with the Library!
