Branch libraries are happy to accept donations of books, audiobooks, DVDs, CDs and even vinyl records. Depending on the item and the condition, donated materials may be added to the collection or sold in the Friends of the Library’s Annual Book Sale. Materials with the highest likelihood of being added to the collection or sold in the book sale are clean, dry and generally in good condition. Unfortunately, most textbooks, outdated technology books, workbooks and damaged books (torn or defaced pages) may need to be discarded. Instead of donating these types of materials, please recycle them.

Monetary donations can be made through the Friends of the Library. The donations are used by the Friends to provide supplementary funds that help make possible many of the Library’s educational and cultural programming.
