MAIN LIBRARY HOSTS PROPOSAL WRITING WEBINAR!

– Learn key components of writing a proposal to a foundation –

(MIAMI, MARCH 5, 2013) – The Miami-Dade Public Library System is hosting a free Proposal Writing Basics Webinar on Tuesday, March 19 from 1‑2 p.m. at the Main Library – 101 West Flagler Street, Miami, Florida

The webinar will focus on the key components of writing a proposal to a foundation or corporation and will answer questions that first-timers often have about the process of applying for a grant. Topics include: How the proposal fits into the overall grant-seeking process; What to include in a standard proposal to a foundation; Tips for making each section of your proposal stronger; What funders expect to see in your proposal and Tips for communicating with funders during the grant process.
