Miami-Dade Public Library System Hosts Author Benjamin Busch
MIAMI-DADE PUBLIC LIBRARY SYSTEM HOSTS AUTHOR BENJAMIN BUSCH
– Kick-off The Big Read at Miami Beach Regional Library! –
(MIAMI, FL – FEBRUARY 26, 2013) The public is invited to join the Miami‑Dade Public Library System and the Florida Center for the Literary Arts at Miami Dade College for a special evening with Benjamin Busch, author of Dust to Dust, on Tuesday, March 19 at 6:30 p.m. at the Miami Beach Regional Library – 227 22 Street in Miami Beach.
The event kicks-off The Big Read – an initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts. The Big Read was developed to inspire people across the country to pick up a good book, listen to radio programs, watch video profiles, and read brief essays about classic authors. This year’s Big Read selection is Tim O’Brien’s acclaimed semi-autobiographical account The Things They Carried.
