TAKE MIAMI-DADE MAYOR CARLOS GIMENEZ’S LIBRARY CARD CHALLENGE!
– Register for a new library card or update your old card with a new design –
(MIAMI, FL – OCTOBER 10, 2012) Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Gimenez and the Miami-Dade Public Library System want you to take part in the Mayor’s Library Card Challenge which kicks-off on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Pinecrest Branch Library and runs through November 16, 2012. For patrons who are library card owners, the ‘challenge’ is to explore and re-acquaint themselves with all the resources and services available at the library. For those who do not have a library card, the ‘challenge’ is to get to their nearest branch and register for one so that they can start enjoying their favorite book, movie, music or more. For a limited time, six new library card designs are available -while supplies last.
