MIAMI-DADE PUBLIC LIBRARY SYSTEM PRESENTS TALES UNDER THE STARS

-Grab a blanket and enjoy a captivating evening of stories from around the world!-

(MIAMI, FL APRIL 9, 2012) – As a prelude to Miami-Dade Public Library System’s Art of Storytelling (AOS) International Festival Day, which is being held on Saturday, April 28 from 10:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Main Library, the Library System will present a storytelling evening series entitled, ‘Tales Under the Stars’ at select branches and locations. Sharing tall tales and folklore are renowned tellers Caren Neile, Lela Lombardo, Alton Chung, Arianna Ross and special guests from the Taipei Public Library, the AOS international exchange partner. There will be performances by the Mozambique African Drummers, as well. Additionally, the Deering Estate at Cutler, Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden and the Miami Science Museum will also play host to Tales.  All performances are free and open to all ages.
