Miami-Dade Public Library System

(MIAMI, OCTOBER 26, 2011) – The Miami-Dade Public Library System, in partnership with the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Miami, presents a selection of films which will be shown in select branches.  Films include: Kung Fu Dunk; Orzboyz!, So, you speak French?; CAPE NO. 7; Gangster Rock; and Our Island, Our Dreams. The series is being presented in conjunction with the Main Library’s exhibition - Retracing Our Steps: A Photo Journey through 100 Years of the Republic of China which opens on Friday, November 4.

Both the film series and the exhibition celebrate the Library System’s 2012 Art of Storytelling International Festival Exchange Partner: the Taipei Public Library. For more information, call 305.375.BOOK (2665).
