(MIAMI, OCTOBER 26, 2011) – The Miami-Dade Public Library System’s Culture and Language Series presents a line-up of programs for patrons of all ages. Dance and music lovers will discover the traditions of the Afro-Peruvian culture with Afro con Tempo Peruvian Dance Theater on Saturday, November 5, 2 p.m. at the West Dade Regional Library. Children, ages three and older, can enjoy two performances of Tough Turkey in the Big City: A Thanksgiving Odyssey where they will follow the comic blunders of Tom Turkey who leaves the farm to try his luck in the big city! Performances will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 6:30 p.m. at the Coral Gables Branch Library, and on Saturday, November 19, 4 p.m. at the North Dade Regional Library. On Saturday, November 19, at 2 p.m. the Main Library will welcome French author and illustrator Cyril Pedrosa who will share his artistry and style of comic book writing and drawing.  All programs are free.
