Free Iinvestment Workshops Offered at Lunchtime! -Main Library Hosts Lunch and Learn Series-
(Miami, June 11, 2009) – The Miami-Dade Public Library System is offering a series of free Investment Workshops at the Main Library, 101 W Flagler Street. Jason Whitby, senior financial advisor, Investor Solutions will offer tips on becoming a smarter investor and retirement planning. Workshops will be held on the following dates:
Friday, June 19, noon-1 p.m. Investing Basics: 20 tips for Becoming a Smarter Investor - Learn how investing fits into an overall financial plan and get information on investing concepts.
Friday, July 17, noon – 1 Real World Investment Planning -Explore the universal reality of retirement as well as the many savings and investment options individuals can rely on when planning for the future.
Friday, August 21, noon-1 p.m. - Investing Basics: 20 tips for Becoming a Smarter Investor-Learn how investing fits into an overall financial plan and get information on investing concepts.
