Miami, Fl – Miami-Dade Public Library System’s newest branch will open November 29th bringing Library services to a rapidly increasing population. A ribbon-cutting inaugural ceremony will take place at 10:00 a.m. with Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Alvarez and Commissioner Natacha Seijas participating in the Grand Opening. Located at 17601 N.W. 78 Avenue, the Palm Springs North Branch Library is located in a shopping center, as part of the Library’s plan to bring services closer to neighborhoods.
Among the new branch’s features is a Cozy Book Room area, where toddlers and children will enjoy their favorite books and storytelling. As in other storefront branches, the 3,000 square-foot facility houses an outstanding selection of books in different languages, circulating materials in different formats and Internet access.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday - 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday - 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
