Seventh Annual Friends of the Library Book Sale

(Miami, FL) Mark your calendars for the Friends of the Miami-Dade Public Library 7th Annual Book Sale which will be held Thursday, November 29th through Sunday, December 2nd at the Main Library, 101 West Flagler St., in downtown Miami.

The Friends’ Books Sale is South Florida’s largest donated book sale which last year raised nearly $36,000 to help support library programs for children such as the Art of Storytelling and Children’s Book Week. Tens of thousands of donated books, tapes and records will be available for purchase, most for $2 and under.

2007 Book Sale dates and times:

Thursday, November 29 10 am – 8 pm
Friday, November 30 10 am – 5 pm
Saturday, December 1 10 am – 5 pm
Sunday, December 2 noon – 4 pm (half price day – all books 50% off)

The Friends of the Miami-Dade Public Library System is a nonprofit, charitable organization created in 1974 to promote library interests within the community, support volunteers in the local branches, and raise funds to sponsor library programming.
