Miami, Fl October 1, 2004 - - The Friends of the Miami-Dade Public Library invite everyone to its 2004 Annual Book Sale, from October 21 to 24. Residents of all ages will discover bargains ($1.00 and up), and find books and audiovisual materials on a wide variety of subjects: from Tai Chi, Yoga, wellness, gourmet cooking and the arts, to children’s stories, history, travel, Anime, romance, career or horror books for the teens, and bestsellers. There are materials in Braille as well as in large print for those with low vision. And the Library’s Foreign Language Department offers an extensive collection of materials in English, Spanish, Haitian Creole, French, Italian, Yiddish, German, Arabic, Russian and other tongues from remote lands, so most patrons will be able to enjoy reading in their native languages.
