Library to Inaugurate New Branch in West Dade Concord Branch Library to Open September 10

Miami, Fl - A new library branch is slated to open its doors on Friday, September 10 in West Miami-Dade County, in response to residents’ demand for additional library services. The Concord Branch Library is located at the Concord Shopping Center, 3882 S.W. 112th Avenue in Miami. Miami-Dade County Mayor Alex Penelas and the Board of County Commissioners cordially invite the community to join them in the Grand Opening ceremony scheduled at 10 a.m.

Concord Branch is the third of 8 branches that will open as part of the Library’s Capital Plan, which has demonstrated a path of steady expansion. As in other branches, the 3,000 square foot branch will have an outstanding selection of books in different languages and circulating materials in different formats.
