Author Kay Abella to share her book: Fighting Castro: A Love Story – at Miami-Dade Public Libraries in May
(MIAMI, May 7, 2008) Throughout the month of May, author Kay Abella will make several appearances at Miami-Dade Public Libraries to share her work Fighting Castro, A Love Story. Abella’s book recounts the true story of a Cuban doctor who was imprisoned by Castro as a resistance leader, forcing his wife to choose between helping her husband stay alive or staying with her young children.
Abella, a former copywriter for Ladies Home Journal, and former translator at the Paris bureau of The Chicago Tribune will appear at the following branches:
