Learn how to become a Library and Information Professional
(Miami-Dade , FL) The Miami-Dade Public Library System and SEFLIN (Southeast Florida Library Information Network) invite members of the public to a recruitment and information session on how to become a librarian. The workshop will introduce participants to graduate school degree programs offered by the University of South Florida and Florida State University. The workshop takes place on Tuesday, February 5th, at the Main Library – 101 West Flagler Street from 1 – 4:30 pm, and will cover topics such as admission requirements, local classes and scholarships.
The workshop is free and open to the public. No advance registration is required.
