Miami-Dade Public Library System services to be impacted by electrical work in downtown Miami this weekend
– Main Library will be closed Saturday, June 18, online services unavailable –
(Miami, FL – June 16, 2016) The Main Library of the Miami‑Dade Public Library System (MDPLS), located at 101 West Flagler Street, will be closed on Saturday, June 18, due to a major electrical repair project being conducted in downtown Miami. All other library branches will observe their normal schedules this weekend, but all computer‑related services, including the MDPLS website and catalog, public computers, Internet, Wi‑Fi, and other electronic resources will be unavailable beginning at approximately 4 p.m. Friday, June 17, until 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 20. The Main Library is expected to reopen on Monday at 10 a.m.
