Miami-Dade Public Library System presents Healing through the Arts and Heroine’s Choir Holiday Concert
– Book‑making and scrap‑booking event featuring choir singers and cancer survivors –
(Miami, FL – October 19, 2015) Start the holiday season with the gift of music presented by the Heroine’s Choir. The Miami‑Dade Public Library System will be presenting Healing through the Arts and the Heroine’s Choir Holiday Concert. Join this group of choir singers and breast cancer survivors and their supporters for an unforgettable night.
Healing through the Arts is a two‑week event on book‑making and scrap‑booking that will culminate in an exhibit of works created by participants at an exhibition with the Heroine’s Choir performing. Participants should commit to all sessions. Healing through the Arts will take place on Saturday, October 31 at 3:30 p.m. and on Saturday, November 7 at 3:30 p.m.
The Heroine’s Choir Holiday Concert will take place on Saturday, November 14 at 3:30 p.m. Art work from the Healing through the Arts workshop will be on display. Both events will take place at the Kendale Lakes Branch Library located at 15205 SW 88 Street in Miami, Florida.
