(MIAMI, December 9, 2013) – Book lovers and bargain hunters are in for a treat when the Friends of the Miami‑Dade Public Library host their Annual Book Sale, Wednesday, December 11, through Saturday, December 14, at the Main Library, 101 W. Flagler St.
Thousands of donated books, DVDs, CDs and more, will be available from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., daily. A special selection of art and coffee table books, cookbooks, and children’s books will be available inside the library’s auditorium starting at 10 a.m.*
Buyers are encouraged to bring their own bags and scanning devices are prohibited.
The Book Sale is the Friends' most important fundraiser of the year, and proceeds will help to provide many cultural and literary programs to benefit the community.
