Find a book in the library

Below are ways to find books in the library. (Also, don’t forget you can just go and browse the shelves!):

(1) Use the CATALOG

To search for an item in the online click Library Catalog

Some tips:

If you want to find books on a specific topic in the young adult collection, open the catalog and put the name of the topic in the blank search box and click on “Go.” Using the pull-down menu in right hand corner that says “Limit by,” select “Young Adult Materials” and click on “Go.”

If you want to find a list of popular fiction for young adults, go to our catalog and type in "Young Adult Popular Fiction".

(2) To search the NOVELIST Database:

Just put in the title or author of a book you like and NoveList will suggest and give short summaries of similar books. To get there, click on the “NoveList” icon, which will take you to a list of databases. Scroll down and click on NoveList.
