    Covenant House is a national organization dedicated to finding shelter for homeless youth. This site provides locations of shelters (there is one in Fort Lauderdale) and a toll-free number.

    globe Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Miami
    Provides information on mentoring services offered by Big Brother and Big Sisters of Miami. Also available in Spanish.

    globe Switchboard of Miami
    A telephone-based counseling service provides counseling and referrals to individuals and families. Help is available in English, Spanish and Creole.
