A Library card is required to reserve a computer. Guest cards are available for a $5 fee for a three-month period which allow the use of computers but do not allow for the borrowing of materials.

Basic computer sessions are 60 minutes long. This can be extended if no one is waiting. Card holders are limited to 120 minutes each day.

All computers stop accepting reservations 20 minutes prior to closing and shut down automatically 10 minutes prior to closing.

The charge for printing is 25 cents per page; printing must be completed by the end of the next day. Color printers are available at the following branches: Coral Gables, Main Library, Miami Beach Regional, North Dade Regional, South Dade Regional, West Dade Regional and West Kendall Regional. Color printouts are $1.25 per page.

Altering or abusing computer equipment and/or settings is prohibited.

Internet workstations are located in public areas. Users need to be considerate and refrain from displaying materials that those around them might reasonably consider objectionable.

Anyone who violates these rules may be asked by staff to leave the Library premises. Library staff may ask for assistance from local police department if needed to enforce these rules.
