Information on business, technology, employment, consumer concerns and other topics can be researched using indexing services available on paper, CD-ROM and online.

The collection includes more than 500 periodicals, and over 600 U.S. and foreign trade directories. Phone books from across the country and from numerous foreign cities are also available. The department is a Patent Depository Library. A patent searching class, normally taught on the first Tuesday of each month, is available to help patrons begin their patent research.
