Palmetto Bay Branch Library
The 5,000 square-foot Palmetto Bay Branch Library is located inside the Village of Palmetto Bay’s Community Center at Ludovici Park - a two-story community center. Construction of the branch began in the spring of 2008 in partnership with the Village of Palmetto Bay. The light yellow library building was designed by architectural firm Wolfberg-Alvarez and Partners and overlooks mangrove preserves and Biscayne Bay. In keeping with the accessible neighborhood theme, the library is attached to the looped Old Cutler Road bike path which will make it easy for residents to access the library on bike or by walking.
The library offers a vast collection of books, computers, magazines, CDs and DVDs as well as classes on financial assistance and details on the job market. Adult, teen and children programming will also be available.
